Air Quality Testing

Compressed Breathing Air is used by operatives working in a number of industrial sectors including oil and gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, nuclear, diving and in medical applications. The quality of the air is critical for the health and safety of the people breathing the air and contaminated air can have an immediate effect on their well being. Compression of ambient air concentrates the normal contaminants already present in the air and can also introduce other contaminants such as oil vapours, condensed water and bacteria. It is important that the risks are understood, controlled and monitored against quality standards defined under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health COSHH EH40 and BS EN 12021:1999

SafeWell manufactures an Air Purity Analyser allowing air quality to be tested in accordance with the prescribed standards. The equipment is battery powered, easy to use with menu driven instructions and is used in combination with industry standard Drager Tubes.
