An effective holistic risk management process requires testing the air quality at a frequency determined during risk assessment to assure the safety of the compressed breathing air.

The Safewell APA is classed as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and is easy to use, providing reliable and effective testing of compressed breathing air quality in accordance with International Standards and proving the performance of the safety barrier used between the compressor and the lungs of those breathing from the compressor.

Our APA MK1 has been deployed in the market for over 10 years and is used to test the quality of compressed air used for respiratory protection and industrial processes. Air purity testing is essential to ensure compliance with the recognised International Air Quality Standards (COSHH L5 & BA EN12021: 2014 & ISO8573) defined for compressed air in different applications.

The Safewell APA Mk1 is field proven following a large number of deployments by all the leading fabric maintenance organisations in the Oil and Gas, Food and Drink and Industrial sectors.

The APA Mk1 is supplied in a waterproof case and is battery powered. Note; it may only be used in an ATEX zone 2 hazardous area following risk assessment and using a permit to work system. A range of accessories is available for the APA Mk1 including a full accessory case.
