Cytosystems Ltd Contracts Safewell to build 5 Cell Harvesting Units

Following successful proof of concept studies carried out over the last year SafeWell has been asked to manufacture 5 cell harvesting units for its client Cytostems Ltd.

Cytosystems are a world leader in the development of advanced, laboratory-based diagnostic tests for cancer.

The cell harvesting unit has been integrated and developed by Safewell on behalf of Cytosystems under a collaborative agreement. The product harvests and concentrates bladder cancer cells from patient urine samples and then preserves the cells so they can be used for diagnosis vai cytology for a longer time period.
