Ensure end user risks linked to compressed air supply are understood, controlled and monitored in accordance with recognised international standards.
It is critical that respiratory air produced by a compressor is purified and that air quality is measured and monitored regularly to assure compliance with international standard BS EN 12021:2014 in Europe or an equivalent alternative standard in another jurisdiction.
It is important when using Compressed Air in safety critical processes such as Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage Manufacture that the quality of the compressed air used in the process is validated in accordance with the required quality class as defined in the International ISO 8573-1:2010 standard.
We are passionate about generating awareness and best practice in the use of compressed air used for respiratory protection and safety critical processes.
Safewell understands how to manage and mitigate such risks and we are aligned with the ‘Clean Air? – Take Care!’ joint initiative between the British Safety Industry Federation and the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE), aimed at reducing occupational respiratory disease.
Safewell’s expert team will take you through a discovery process to identify the safety critical elements in your business. We’ll then work with you to identify any gaps in best practice and implement the right solutions for your business.
